He seemed thorough in our discussion, very knowledgeable and took the time to address each one of my concerns. He did not attempt to scare or pressure me into purchasing services and in fact gave some recommendations for me to deal with what I was seeing and a path forward. He also gave a recommendation to a couple contractors for some crawl space issues that his company doesn’t take care of. "I called them out to look at some settling on a 75-year-old house. Prior to purchase I had a structural engineer and another pier company inspect the house and they both suggested installation of several piers at a cost of 10 to 15k. Atlas came out and did a thorough inspection and decided that the settling was fairly old, and there was no need to install the piers since it was no longer settling. Their honesty and integrity saved me 10 to 15k."

The house I bought had a foundation problem where the cinder block wall was getting pushed in. They did a great job. Wayne was honest and nice. About a year and half rolled around and I just inquired about getting support beams to remove load bearing walls. Susan was so nice on the phone that I immediately wanted to leave a review. “We called Atlas Piers to come to our home to give us an estimate for piers needed to shore up our foundation, which had cracked and become unlevel at one corner of our home. They responded the same day and set up an appt for a few days later. Chad Costello arrived early and looked under the house and told us it wasn’t that bad – big relief! Chad said we only needed three piers installed, and gave us a verbal estimate, which was promptly sent in writing via email the following day. He explained how the job would be done, how long it would take, and answered all our questions.Due to me going out of town for Thanksgiving week, I didn’t get back to them with the signed accepted proposal until around 12/5.They called the following Wednesday and said they had an opening the next day, and I said that would be good. At 8:00 am on the button, their work crew arrived and got right to work. They were done by early afternoon, and did a very good job of not messing up shrubbery around the work area. These people know what they are doing, and they do it very efficiently, well and for a reasonable price. I would definitely use them again for any future foundation problems, and recommend them highly.”

“Wayne Farris, CEO of Atlas Piers, came to my property and provided me with an estimate. It was immediately apparent that he has been in this business for a long time, and knows what he’s talking about. He discussed the best case scenario for the project, as well as possible complications that would create additional costs. I felt very comfortable selecting Atlas to do the work.
Three weeks later the crew of three showed up promptly to do the work. The foreman was extremely professional, and took time to answer my many questions. The other two crew members were also very polite. I believe one of them had been with Atlas for over fifteen years. Like Wayne, they appeared very competent in what they were doing.
Two issues occurred that required minimal additional costs over the estimate. Apparently the previous owner of the home had attempted a fix to this problem by adding additional concrete to the outside of the original foundation wall. The crew had to use jack hammers to remove this concrete in the areas where the three piers were installed. Secondly, two cracks were found in the foundation wall that required the installation of metal plates prior to the lifting process. These two issues added $545.00 to the bill.
Once the work was completed, the crew did an excellent job of cleaning up the worksite. All my contacts with the Atlas Piers office staff were pleasant and professional. I interviewed three contractors for this job, and am very pleased that I selected Atlas!”

“Perfect. We were days away from closing on the sale of our house when we found out we had some foundation issues. Atlas was so accommodating of our urgent situation. They did the work in one day – having to move shrubbery and dig down 20 ft for the piers – and you couldn’t tell they had done any digging when they were finished. Shrubs were replanted and it looked as good as new. The work was perfect and allowed us to close on our house as scheduled.”

Atlas Piers repaired a foundation omission made by my builder 22 years ago and has restored the foundation level to where it was originally. I am very pleased with the work performed and the professionalism of the crew. The project ended being larger in scope than originally planned but the work was completed in a timely manner and the work was done in a competent manner.
